Night time in Paris - we can't wait to go!

 Our Paris visit starts on Wednesday July 31 we are hoping to visit many of the usual tourist attractions.  In planning this we have marked on a map the things we hope to see and visit. Check out our map here: google map of our Paris visit .
We expect to leave Paris on our tandem tour following this path from  Paris to Charleville . From Charlevile we will follow the Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes bike path to Givet near the border with Belgium. The balance of our tour through Belgium and the Netherlands to Amsterdam  will follow the well established RAVel bike paths in Belgium and the Fietsersbond route planner in The Netherlands to Amsterdam.

We are ready to go. Our bags fit our bike and the  flights look good. Two more days and we will be on our way to Paris. Planned are a week of touring the highlights of Paris followed by the tour!!

Preparations

Last summer our trip  to Europe was simple.  Friends gave us a place to stay near Amsterdam which allowed us to tour with a base of operations. Two and three-day trips to neighboring cities were a straight- forward and comfortable way to get familiar with the environs, the bike paths, and the energy needed to get somewhere on our tandem.
